DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

Deposit: A deposit in the amount of $100 per room is due at the time of booking.

Final Payment: Full and final payment for non-holiday reservations is due 30 days prior to arrival, at which time the reservation is non-refundable and non-changeable. If a non-holiday reservation is cancelled within 30 days of arrival, all monies received will be forfeited. Full and final payment for holiday reservations touching Dec. 20, 2014 through Jan. 3, 2015 is due Nov. 1, 2014, at which time the reservation is non-refundable and non-changeable.

Cancellation: Non-holiday reservations cancelled outside 30 days of arrival are subject to a $100 processing fee per room. Any changes made to a reservation may affect total package price. All changes are subject to availability. Changing property management companies is considered a cancellation and all cancellation policies apply.

Your payment constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

LIFT TICKET POLICY--

All lift ticket products are non-transferable and non-refundable. Online PEAKS rates are only available online. Additional days purchased at the ticket window must be purchased at the window rate. When you purchase lift tickets, you will automatically be enrolled in the Vail Resorts "Peaks" loyalty program, at no cost to you. You will receive program information by standard mail and will be offered the chance to decline.

AIRLINE RESERVATIONS POLICY--

Airline tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. Change fees and/or increased fares will be applied when a reservation is modified. Once the ticket has been purchased the name on the ticket cannot be changed.

It is the responsibility of all adult passengers to present valid photo identification upon check-in with their airline. If you are a member of your airline's frequent flyer or other reward club, please present your club number upon check-in. Vail Resorts asks that all passengers reconfirm their flights, with the airlines directly,  24-hours prior to their departure. Prices are per person, and include all taxes & fees in USD. Airline baggage fees may apply and are not included in the price.


CHILD CARE/NURSERY & CHILDREN'S SKI AND SNOWBOARD SCHOOL POLICIES--

Children's Ski and Snowboard School Cancellation Policy
1. Your Credit Card may be charged up to 48 hours prior to your arrival.
2. Changes or cancellations can be made by calling (877) 472-6306 or 001-(877) 472-6306.
3. A no call or no show on a reservation may be charged a $50 cancellation fee.
4. No refunds will be given due to weather.

Helmet Policy:

Children age 12 and under must wear a winter sport protective helmet while participating in ski and snowboard school. In addition, children over the age of 12 who participate in designated children's classes or programs must wear a helmet. Rental helmets are available at our children's ski and snowboard school locations for your convenience.

While helmets may reduce or mitigate the severity of some head injuries, their use does not guarantee safety and will not prevent certain injuries. The Resort reminds you that every winter sport participant shares responsibility for his or her safety and for that of others using the ski area facilities. Always show courtesy to others and be aware that there are elements of risk in skiing and snowboarding that common sense and personal awareness can help reduce. Know your ability level and stay within it. Become familiar with and observe "Your Responsibility Code" and share with other skiers the responsibility for a great skiing experience.

Child Care/Nursery Policy
1. Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the first day of your reservation.
2. Cancellations made within 48 hours will incur a $50 cancellation/processing fee.
3. All cancellations made after 8:30 am same day of reservation, in addition to any NO CALL/NO SHOWS will be charged one full day and remainder of the reservation may be cancelled.
4. All cancellations or changes to your reservation must be made by calling our centers directly.

ADULT SKI SCHOOL POLICIES--

3. All participants must check-in to the Ski & Snowboard School at least a half hour prior to their lesson start time to ensure their reservation can be fulfilled.

* No refunds will be given for unused days.
* You will be required to sign a VAIL RESORTS SKI SCHOOL ASSUMPTION OF RISK, HOLD HARMLESS, RELEASE OF LIABILITY prior to participating in your lesson.

 

PRIVATE LESSON REQUEST POLICIES--    

 

 

 

Reservation Request and Cancellation Policy:

1. Your online transaction is a Reservation Request. This product will appear as "Purchased" in the Trip Folder when the request is sent, not when payment is completed. Your credit card will not be charged at the time of the online request.
2. You will be contacted by an agent of the Ski & Snowboard School prior to your arrival. 
3. You will receive a confirmation email from the Ski & Snowboard School for this Reservation Request. If you do not receive a confirmation email, your request may not have been received. If this occurs please contact the Ski & Snowboard School at (877) 472-6306 or 001-(877) 472-6306.
4. Changes or cancellations can be made by calling our Ski & Snowboard School at (877) 472-6306 or 001-(877) 472-6306 or by emailing us at CanyonsSkiSchool@vailresorts.com.
5. All lessons must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance of the lesson start time or you will be charged a minimum of a $100 cancellation fee. If a lesson is cancelled within 24 hours, the full lesson price will be charged if the instructor assigned to the lesson is not re-booked.
6. All participants must check-in to the Ski & Snowboard School on time to ensure their reservation can be fulfilled.
7. All children 12 and under will be required to wear a helmet while participating in a Private Lesson.

SEASON PASS DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION POLICY

Partial Pay Agreement: By putting $49 down, I understand that I am committing to buy the pass(es) for the 2014/2015 season. I UNDERSTAND THIS $49 PAYMENT IS NOT REFUNDABLE. I agree the credit card provided will be authorized for the remaining amount of the season pass product purchased. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to my credit card on or around September 15th, 2014. Once the $49 down payment has been made, the $49 down payment cannot be cancelled or refunded, nor can the pass purchase be cancelled or refunded*. In the event the total price of the season pass product is lowered prior to the start of the 2014/2015 ski season, the remaining amount due will be reduced by the amount that the total price was lowered. Those who pay $49 down will also be entitled to summer 2014 access.

I agree to provide a valid e-mail address for the express purpose of receiving communications regarding this transaction. I understand this is the only manner by which I will receive such communications.

*The only case where a guest can get a refund on a season pass is if pass insurance has been purchased and there is a valid claim.

THE PASS YOU ARE BUYING IS NOT TRANSFERABLE AND MAY NOT BE RESOLD. The pass may be confiscated with no re-issue if, in the sole judgment of the ski area operator, it is used in a fraudulent manner. Re-issued passes may be subject to a replacement fee. The passholder(s) acknowledge their affirmative duty to immediately notify the ski area operator and appropriate authorities if Holder’s pass is lost or stolen. Failure to notify the ski area of a stolen or lost pass may result in loss of skiing privileges.

Restrictions may apply for some season pass products. Visit snow.com for restricted dates. Valid for resorts purchased. Child is defined as 5 -12. Teen is defined as 13-18. Adult is defined as 19+. For questions, call 800-842-8062. No refunds available for season pass products. There is no season pass processing for these passes at Arapahoe Basin.
