WOMEN'S 1-DAY CLINICS
For ladies looking for more fun than just a day at the spa, our Women's 1-Day Clinics offer a full day of coaching with our staff for strong intermediate through expert female skiers and riders. With small groups from 6 to 24 participants structured based on ability and snow conditions, you're sure to get the attention you deserve. Clinics begin at 9:30am and run for 6 hours and include coaching, lunch, video analysis (weather permitting) and a bag of goodies.
EXPEDITION:KIRKWOOD WOMEN'S WEEKEND 2011
Back by popular demand, the Expedition:Kirkwood Women's Weekend will focus on mastering a variety of terrain and snow conditions as well as terrain selection, finding the best line and off-piste skiing etiquette.
How would you like to spend a long weekend doing something great just for you? Consider this: a 2-day escape filled with adventure and fun… learning to tackle all mountain terrain with confidence and skill, getting up to speed on the latest gear, and doing it all while surrounded by fun-loving ladies just like yourself. On mountain and off, this fantastic weekend is jam packed with fun-filled activities designed to upgrade your performance, enhance your style and tap your passion.
This two day event is for beginner through expert female skiers and riders and includes:
2 days of continental breakfast and lunch
Special private wine, cheese and shopping party in Kirkwood Sports Mountain Saturday night
Complimentary ski and snowboard demos all weekend
Kirkwood’s top guides have created this unique program to share their secrets for all mountain skills and success. Our certified coaches offer tips on technique, finding the best line, how to read a slope, and terrain selection. The natural camaraderie that occurs between women adds a cooperative spirit and motivates participants to push themselves to new levels. Marmot tele athlete Heather Paul will also be joining the camp for any women out there looking to free their mind, body and spirit as well as their heels.
Having the right equipment makes a big difference on the slopes and complimentary demos will be available from Burton and Rossignol, along with discounts on tuning packages. Kirkwood Mountain Sports will open its doors Saturday night for a private party where guests can take advantage exclusive sale pricing and work with our professional staff who will cater to your specific gear needs including equipment analysis, custom boot fitting and personal shopper services.
Clinic meets at 9:30am sharp both days and on mountain coaching will be 5½ to 6 hours long. The all-inclusive weekend includes 2 days of coaching, all meals, goodie grab bag, video analysis (weather permitting), gear from Marmot, Burton and Rossignol, and an exclusive invitation-only Saturday night sale in Kirkwood Mountain Sports.
