Kirkwood is about 45 minutes south east of South Lake Tahoe, surrounded by wilderness and the Eldorado National Forest. Scenic Hwy 88 brings you to the doorstep of the resort where you can see the magnificence of the resort unfold as you turn the corner into the Kirkwood valley.
