Position: Front Line Supervisor - Seasonal/Fulltime
Wages: $12.00 - $13.00 / Hour
Summary: Responsible for directly supervising staff and daily operations. Assists management in numerous tasks as assigned. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manages assigned ticket location for the day including staffing, change requests, line control, and cleanliness.
* Assists in the tracking of payroll by monitoring staffing levels vs. flow of business, kronos, DMR and break schedules.
* Responsible for daily admissions calls
* Responsible for keeping the intra-office reference guide up to date.
* Responsible for the tracking and inventory of ticket and pass stock
* Selling and issuing of Season Passes including the handling of sensitive information
* Ability to understand the importance of Liability release forms and to ensure that all forms are filled out correctly.
* Selling of lift tickets, add-ons or up-sells, and all other ticket/season pass products.
* Accurately manage transactions( including cash, credit cards, vouchers, and coupons)
* Responsible for counting, balancing out cash drawer, and generating cash out reports.
* Provides professional customer service on the phone and over the counter to all guests, answering questions regarding all aspects of Kirkwood Mountain resort.
* Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people and have the ability to maintain a positive attitude.
* Ability to establish priorities, work independently or with in a group, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
* Ability to delegate responsibilities to coworkers.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
* All employees are to understand and abide by the rules of the mountain and help to ensure the guest know them as well.
* Recognize existing and potential problems and suggest resolutions
Qualifications:
* Supervisor experience preferred
* Experience handling money and working with the general public.
* High School level math skills, mathematical aptitude for working with numbers/making change
* Accuracy in handling financial transactions
* Computer/Point-of-sale experience a must.
* Microsoft Office proficient.
* Positive selling skills and customer service experience required
* Excellent skill in customer relations, communications, and problem solving.
* Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English language proficiently
* Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements: Percentage of time spent: 78% standing 22% sitting
Attire-Grooming and Appearance:
* Shirts/Nametags will be provided and must be worn daily.
* No facial tattoos or piercings.
* Your appearance should be professional at all times.
* Must follow all company and department grooming standards as outlined in the employee handbook.
Safety:
* Must conduct weekly safety meetings and assist with staff training.
* Must have a working knowledge of IIPP, MSDS, and PPE
* May be asked to attend company safety council meetings
