Kirkwood will be hiring a limited number of International Students for the upcoming 2010/2011 Winter Season. We require an interview and work with the following agencies.
Every year Kirkwood Mountain Resort travels to a variety of countries to interview and hire the best staff we can find to supplement our wonderful crew of U.S. employees. Approximately 15-20% of our staff hail from foreign lands and they add a wonderful diversity to the resort which makes working or visiting Kirkwood an even more special experience. The countries we actively recruit from are Australia, Peru, New Zealand, Chile and Argentina. We also have staff members who have found their own way here and return year after year. They come from such diverse countries as, just to name a few, Spain, France, South Africa, Scotland, Poland and Brazil.
Visa Options
If you wish to work at Kirkwood Mountain Resort and are a full time student in a foreign country you must obtain the legal right to work in the USA by obtaining a student visa, know as a J1.
J1 Visas
J1 Visas are only available to full time students, those who are returning to study the following semester. If you are not returning to full time study you will not be eligible for a J1 visa. Kirkwood Mountain Resort does not sponsor the J1 program; the visa must be obtained through a work travel company/sponsor. Utilizing the services of the sponsor companies we travel to a variety of countries to hire our international employees and attend selected job fairs. We will not sign a job offer without conducting a personal interview therefore if you are interested in working at Kirkwood Mountain Resort you must contact the appropriate company listed below to reserve an interview time at one of the job fairs.
