ALL STARS
These three hour clinics are designed for ripping skiers and snowboarders and are offered on weekends and holidays only, providing a glimpse into the JETS program for children that cannot commit to being in the valley each week. These high-end clinics focus on the variety of skills needed to handle variable snow conditions and different terrain.

JETS Games
This season Kirkwood will again hold the very successful JETS Games series. The JETS Games is a five event series, for youngsters to get an introduction to competition in a relaxed environment. Kids will compete against each other in multiple categories for prize’s and swag. The most successful team and individuals in each category will be crowned at the end of the season.

JUNIOR EXPEDITION TEAMS
The Junior Expedition Teams (JETS) are for skiers and riders ages 5 -14 who are looking for a seasonal program focusing on skill development. The JETS provide kids with a cool team vibe, while also giving each kid a chance to ski and ride with the same coach all season on Kirkwood’s legendary terrain. The JETS programs are for comfortable intermediate through expert skiers and riders.

The JETS coaches work individually with each kid throughout the season to provide a fun, safe and nurturing team environment. Coaches focus on team camaraderie, on mountain etiquette and the “fundamentals” of skiing and riding. Throughout the season, teams will ski and ride the whole mountain: cornices, chutes, open bowls, powder, trees, gates and the park and pipe. Each weekend will bring a new focus depending on conditions and skill development.

Note: This is not a “learn to ski program.” Children must be able to comfortably ski the runs serviced by Chair 5, including linking turns in both directions, stopping safely and riding the lift without help from an adult.
