JULY 2010
7.31.10    Tenth Annual Kirkwood Wildflower Festival
Celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Kirkwood Wildflower Festival from 12pm to 5pm on the Village Plaza with live music, wine tasting, local artisans, and fun for the entire family. Tasting tickets are $20 per person and include commemorative glass. A BBQ will be open on the Plaza for lunch at an additional cost.

AUGUST 2010
8.1.10    Community Clean Up Day
Help us keep Kirkwood beautiful. Meet on the Plaza at 9:30am to pick up your bag and gloves, then head out for a hike while you collect pieces of trash. Volunteers enjoy a free BBQ lunch at 12pm!

8.20.10    Tahoe Adventure Film Festival
Check out some of the hottest new adventure films when the Tahoe Adventure Film Festival comes to Kirkwood! The action begins at 7:30pm in Off the Wall Bar. Tickets $10.

SEPTEMBER 2010
9.4.10    Thin Air Chili Cookoff
Celebrate the end of another great summer at Kirkwood during the Annual Thin Air Chili Cookoff from 12pm to 5pm! Live music, chili chefs competing for the cash prize, and a beer and wine tasting make this one Labor Day party you don't want to miss! Tasting tickets are $20. Scenic chair rides on Chair 6 will be open for the day at $10 per person.

9.4.10    Earn that Chili!
Before you head over to the Chili Cookoff, work up an appetite. The KCA Tennis Tournament begins at 9am at the Kirkwood Tennis Courts and will award prizes to the top finishers. Cost for participating in the Tennis Tournament is $20 for KCA members or $30 for non-members.

9.5.10    KCA Movie Night
Red Cliffs Day Lodge, movie to be announced. Cost $5 for KCA members, $10 for non-members.

9.6.10    KCA Mini Jam Camp
Children, families, and adults are welcome to join us for a day on the ropes course, climbing wall, and zip line from 10am to 2pm. Close toed shoes are required, sorry - no sandals. Bring a lunch and don't forget the sunscreen! Cost $20.
