MAKE KIRKWOOD YOUR SUMMER DESTINATION THIS YEAR!
Visit Kirkwood this summer and escape the heat! Enjoy beautiful sunny High Sierra days with temperatures in the 70s and 80s with puffy clouds and wildflowers covering the meadows and slopes that you love in the winter. Chair lifts 1 and 2 operate on weekends from July 2 through September 5 this summer, with Chair 6 operating for scenic rides and hiking access on Sunday July 4, Saturday July 31, and Saturday September 4. The Summer HQ is located on the ground floor at Red Cliffs Day Lodge directly across from the General Store. Tickets and bike rentals can be purchased from the Summer HQ starting at 9am on Saturdays and Sundays, with half day tickets on sale starting at 12pm. Chairs 1 and 2 are open for lift access all summer on Saturdays and Sundays. Saturday hours are 10am to 4pm and Sunday hours are 10am to 3pm from July 2 through September 5. Scenic Chair Rides are available on Chair 6 for $10 (sorry, no bikes on Chair 6) on Sunday August 1 and Sunday September 5 from 10am to 2pm.
