College Program

Replacing the College Card, students can now purchase super discounted lift tickets online prior to arrival at the resort. Tickets are available from 12noon until 8:00am (not available 8:00am - 12noon) and can be purchased via the online purchase tool.

It's always more fun to travel in a group, and now there’s more reason to do so... Hit the slopes with 20 buddies or more and your entire group will get a further discount off the already discounted College Lift Tickets! 

Here’s how: Download the group ticket order form here, then submit your order request via email to sales [at] kirkwood [dot] com no later than the Wednesday before you plan to come up to Kirkwood.  Group tickets must be paid for using one form of payment and paid for at time of pick up from the group tickets desk.  Check out our group discount rates for lessons & rentals as well!

To Redeem Your College Ticket or Season Pass
Present the following items plus your ticket voucher at any resort ticket window:
  • Current Student ID
  • Photo ID - Driver's License, Passport, etc.
  • Transcript or schedule showing full time status - a computer print out with school name, student name, and proof of enrollment in 6 or more units.

For the Tripl3Threat Unlimited and Limited passes, please be aware that Alpine might require other documentation. Please contact Alpine with any questions regarding proof of enrollment.

The Unlimited Tripl3Threat - (no longer available for purchase)

Unlimited Triple Threat season passes are valid at Kirkwood Mountain Resort every single day of the 2011/12 winter season. Unlimited passes are not valid at Alpine Meadows and Homewood Mountain Resorts on the following days during winter 2011-2012: Dec. 26-31, 2011; Jan. 14-15, 2012; and Feb. 18-19, 2012.

The Limited Tripl3Threat - (no longer available for purchase)

Limited Triple Threat season passes are valid at Alpine Meadows, Homewood and Kirkwood Mountain Resorts Monday thru Friday with a few holiday black outs.  Limited passes are not valid on the following days during winter 2011-2012: all Saturdays and Sundays; Dec. 26-31, 2011; Jan. 14-16, 2012; and Feb. 18-20, 2012

PASS BENEFITS:

Tripl3Threat pass holders will receive the following added benefits at Kirkwood Mountain Resort:

  • TWO free buddy tickets valid up to and including 12/25/2011. (Tripl3 Threat Unlimited ONLY)
  • Discounted buddy tickets ($20 off Midweek, $10 off weekends and holidays) - Unlimited:4 per day, Limited:2 per day)
  • 20% retail savings at Kirkwood retail outlets

Tripl3Threat pass holders will receive the following added benefits at Alpine Meadows:

  • 10% discount on retail and dining
  • Complimentary internet access
  • Two-for-one private instruction at Alpine Meadows

Additionally, Tripl3Threat pass holders receive a $25 dining credit at Homewood’s West Shore Café & Inn during the winter 2011-12 season and access to Montana’s Red Lodge Mountain Resort.

Undergraduate and graduate students must be enrolled at an accredited two- or four-year college or university, carrying a minimum of six units or credits, and are required to show a photo I.D. and college transcript or proof of enrollment when picking up their purchased season pass.
