The Cross country is now open daily from 9am - 5pm with 55 kilometers of machine groom trail with skating and snowshoe lanes. Upper trails at Schneider Camp are open to Coyote Pass, the top of the trail system. There is also 10 kilometers of easy terrain open in Kirkwood Meadow. Need new gear? Saturday Feb 25th - Join us for the Sunset Snowshoe, enjoy the colors of sunset and the alpenglow on this guided evening trek!
If you want to start your cross country adventure from the Village area, stop by Expedition Kirkwood and we'll rent you some snowshoes so you can hike across the meadow to the XC Center where they'll switch out your snowshoes for skis at no extra charge! Return at either location.

Stop & Turn Clinic - Saturdays – 9:30 -10am
This FREE clinic will cover the basics on our most commonly asked question - "How do you stop and turn?". This lesson that will teach you new skills and enable you to enjoy the intermediate terrain at Kirkwood. Get your trail pass & rentals at the Center, lesson meets at 9:30am.

Soup n Shoe - $35
$35 package includes snowshoe rental, trail pass and soup. Head out on a snowshoe trek that can be a leisurely or strenuous as you like. Finish up at the Kirkwood Inn and warm up with a hot bowl of homemade soup. Soup available daily 11am – 3pm. Additional food or drink items may be purchased separately at the Inn.
