Expedition Kirkwood Kickoff Weekend
December 15th & 16th, 2007

Join the Kirkwood Expedition Guides as they kickstart the 2007/08 winter season with a weekend lineup of clinics and fun-filled events designed to get your skills going in the right direction for the upcoming season.  Freeskiing Diva Lynsey Dyer from Rossignol Skis and Warren Miller Films will be back this season to help stoke the enthusiasm and share her passion for the sport. Expedition: Kirkwood "teaser" clinics will be offered each day for telemarkers, skiers and snowboarders. 

Clinics are for intermediate through expert ability levels and preregistration is available online or by calling 209.258.7360. Registration will also be available throuhgout the weekend at the Expedition Kirkwood Tent in the plaza.

Saturday, December 15th
Women Only Ski Teasers with Lynsey Dyer	Cost:   $45 per person / per each 2.5 hour session	9:30am – 12:00pm 12:30pm – 3:00pm
All Mountain Boarding Teasers	Cost:   $45 per person / per each 2.5 hour session	9:30am – 12:00pm 12:30pm – 3:00pm
Beacon Basin Avalanche Beacon Demos	Cost: Free (you do not need your own beacon)	11:00am – 12:00am 1:00pm – 2:00pm
Private Guides	Cost: $65 per hour for individuals $105 per hour for groups up to 5 people	Available on the hour all day
Sunday, December 16th

The festivities will spill over to the Montbleu Casino and Hotel on Saturday night Dec. 15th for the Tahoe Adventure Film Festival.
