Kirkwood is known for having lots of different weather in one week. In the West, a single storm can nuke feet of snow. It's one of the many reasons people travel from all over the world to ski and ride in California. That... and because the terrain at Kirkwood is simply legendary. Don't be surprised if you see maximum send happening across the mountain. It is highly encouraged around these parts.
