Get the 411 on Kirkwood

Kirkwood's remote beauty and unspoiled vistas are what make it a true mountain escape. Around here, it's about getting a good night's rest and charging hard bright and early. When the send-o-meter is running low, grab a slice at the Cornice Pizza and finish out the day watching patrol do their sweep. Kirkwood may seem small but it has a big heart, and so does the community that supports it. You'll likely see familiar faces around the resort, so don't be shy. Everyone loves a good tomahawk story.

Think of Kirkwood as a big horseshoe.  And in the middle of the horseshoe is the Kirkwood Village.  Where you will find restaurants, Ski and Ride School, Expedition: Kirkwood, Kirkwood Mountain Sports and our Chairlifts that take you to the top of the mountain. 
Or...check out Timber Creek; with the best learning terrain in CA.  Oh yeah, there's a high speed quad there so you can get your practice on...lap after lap, after lap with our Ski and Ride School.

Need to fuel up before a day on the hill?  Start at the General Store or Monte Wolfe's with a breakfast burrito.  Or, are you the type who races for first chair and charges hard all morning until the gas tank is on E mid afternoon?  If so, you can share your morning glory stories with your friends and family at The Wall Bar or The Cornice Pizza.  Or, do you charge from opening bell to closing bell and are looking for a small quite place to unwind?  If this is you, step back into time at The Kirkwood Inn.

Need a day off the skis or board?  Go exploring all our other winter activities at our Cross Country Center.  Snowshoeing, X-C skiing, or the newest activity snow biking!  With 60km of groomed trails (when fully open) there is no limit to where you can explore.
